About Resa Wohlrabe 

Resa always wanted to be a full-time artist from a young age. Resa is a painter, drawer, sand sculptor, mother, and multi-disciplinary creative consultant.

Born in San Antonio Texas she was determined to follow her dream of becoming a successful artist and found the difficulty that comes with trying to follow a dream with no instructions. Persevering, She received her BFA in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University and her MFA Fine Arts from Florida State University and has artwork in the permanent collection at Florida State University Oglesby Gallery Student Union.

She is now an award-winning artist and among some of those being 1st place at the Inspire Fine Arts exhibit in 2019, the 2016 San Antonio Official Fiesta Poster, and 2016 Bombay Sapphire Regional finalists allowing the opportunity to show her art at Art Basel Miami. Her most recent claim is winning 3rd place at Texas Sandfest Sand sculpting competition in semi-pro division.

Painting and drawing was always a passion she followed but sand sculpting came later and unexpectedly. Currently, she paints in her style of nature, does pet commissions, and indulges in sand sculpting to round out her discipline.

“Much of my inspiration comes from spending time outdoors and observing Texas’ unique native wildlife. I have taught painting and drawing classes and loved watching others explore their own creativity. I’ve exhibited and sold my art around the country and I can’t help but create. I look forward to sharing my art with the community and hope that it brings meaning to those who view it.”
