Classic Pet Portrait
PROCESS
Pet commissions are an interactive process. First, choose a picture of your pet that you have taken. Think about the clearness and lighting of the picture, the crisper, the better.
I will suggest cropping if necessary to fit your pet the best way into the canvas. Headshots work best for detail. I suggest a neutral background such as grey or beige because your pet is the main subject. Alternatively, if there is something in the background or foreground of the photo that works in favor of the composition (such as a blanket or favorite toy) then I might suggest making it a part of the portrait.
Portraits are done in high-quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
Timeline: Approximately three weeks. Progress photo and final edits on week two.

Golden Line Pet Portrait
For a more modern look, my golden line portraits follow the same process as classic pet commissions, but in a different style.
They have a shorter turnaround time and are only headshots. Choose a picture of your pet making sure that the picture we use is yours. From there I will find the main contours(outlines) and turn your pet into a shimmery new artwork using gold leaf (imitation).
Timeline: Approximately one week.

All artwork has a required 50% non-refundable deposit to start. Remainder of payment to be payed upon completion and before delivery.
Do you need to ship? I offer shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. for $20 flat rate. All payments go through trusted PayPal g&s.
